about

Born in Tekirdağ in 1997, Aydoğan had her first stage experience in a children's choir she joined during her middle school years. She graduated with honors from the Music Department of Edirne Fine Arts High School, where she focused on Turkish classical and folk music choirs, viola, piano, and vocal studies. During the same period, she also received training and produced works in sculpture, painting, and creative writing. She was awarded an honorable mention in the short story competition themed "Children's Rights," organized by the Creative Children's Association.

She completed her undergraduate studies with honors at the Music and Performing Arts Department of Yıldız Technical University. During this time, she gravitated towards classical voice and opera, performing mezzo-soprano repertoires in various languages. While continuing her piano and guitar studies, she also trained and developed projects in acting, interdisciplinary arts, digital art, and audio/visual programming.

Aydoğan subsequently earned her master’s degree with honors from the same university's Music and Performing Arts Master's Program. During her graduate studies, she focused on the themes of "Social Status, Women, and Identity," examining identity construction through the female protagonist in composer Missy Mazzoli and librettist Royce Vavrek’s opera *Breaking the Waves*. In her thesis titled "An Examination of the Identity Structure of the Female Character Bess McNeil in the Opera *Breaking the Waves* in the Context of Her Social Status," she analyzed the character's social position and identity from a multi-layered perspective.

Combining her artistic creations with collective solidarity and social benefit, Ayça Aydoğan founded the musical choir "Korozeyrek" in Çorlu in 2022. The core vision of this project—where Aydoğan served as a singer, choir conductor, and art director—was to bring the beauty of diversity to the stage through a multi-genre musical approach. To transform this unifying power of art into social solidarity, Korozeyrek's stage revenues up until 2024 were donated to various charity organizations in alignment with this vision.

Actively continuing her acting career, Aydoğan currently performs in the plays "Pera'nın Kadınları" (Women of Pera) and "Halide Edip".
